Trivia
- He was originally intended to look more Pickwickian in his appearance with spectacles and a watch-chain draped over his ample abdomen.
- According to the Ivor Wood character biography of Mr. Pringle, it is revealed that he serves as the headmaster of the school.[1]
- It is unknown why he was replaced with Mrs. Taylor - though, as most of the children have moved up to her class, it is possible that he could simply be teaching other younger children at the school offscreen.
