Pauli Virta (born November 21, 1945 - died December 21, 2011) was a Finnish voice actor and singer who narrated the first season of Postman Pat when they debuted in 1994. He was replaced by Ilkka Merivaara and Kaija Kiiski in season 2. He sang the theme song as well and translated the first season.
