Postman Pat's Big Boat Adventure is the twenty-second episode of Postman Pat Season 5. It was written by Elly Brewer.
Summary[]
While Ted Glen is attempting to fix the boat, Pat comes aboard to deliver some more engine parts for it and the Reverend pays a visit too. Reverend Timms gets tangled in the line anchoring the boat to the bank and he, Pat and Ted get cast adrift in the middle of the river with the engine still not working. They attempt to find a solution to get back to shore, but they do not work.
Meanwhile, the children are helping Amy with Pumpkin and Meera and Bill are arguing about how everything should be done. While on their ride with Pumpkin, Amy and the children see Pat, Ted and the Reverend out on the river and they all work together to help rescue them.

- The tune that is played whilst Amy and Bill are in the rowing boat is based on the theme tune to the film "Mission Impossible". This piece of music was previously used in Postman Pat's Clifftop Adventure.
