Postman Pat's Island Shipwreck is the nineteenth episode of Postman Pat Season 4. It was written by Rebecca Stevens.
Summary[]
The Clifton family and Meera hire a boat to spend the day on the island, but Pat leaves the picnic lunch onto of the van by mistake and the boat runs hard aground on the bank. The family decide to make a campfire and toast the marshmallows which Pat had stored safely in his jacket and some apples that the children find.
Meanwhile Ted Glen has also come to the island to do some fishing and catches a large fish. However when he leaves his catch unattended to put his fishing gear back in his row boat, Pat and the others find it and take it back to the camp fire. They also find Ted's footprints and release that they are not alone.
When Ted returns, he follows another trail of footprints and eventually finds the others with his fish. Together Ted and Pat are able to get the boat unstuck while Sara cooks the fish for their tea.
