Postman Pat Gets Stuck is the sixth episode of Postman Pat Series 5. It was written by George Tarry.
Plot[]
Pat finds himself in awkward situation when he gets himself stuck inside a hole in a hollow tree, so he has to rely on some furry friends to bring him some help to pull him out.
Thanks to Jess, Bonnie and Mrs. Goggins' dog flute, Pat is eventually found by his friends and they pull him out. Now, Pat is ready to go back to work, but a sheep has eaten all his letters, much to the others' amusement.

- This is the first episode not to feature Archie Panjabi, Kulvinder Ghir and Janet James since they joined the cast in Postman Pat and the Greendale Rocket.
- Excluding Melissa Sinden voicing Jess and Bonnie, this is the first episode since Postman Pat and the Mystery Tour that all the characters in the episode only had Ken Barrie and Carole Boyd provide the voices.
- The original Woodland Animations PAT 1 model is used when Pat is driving his van in the village.
Goofs[]
- There was plenty of room in the hole of the tree for Pat to free himself.
- Pat's refers to Ted's Lorry as a truck, but truck in that context is an American term.
- P.C. Selby should know that you cannot arrest cats and dogs.
- When Pat says "Get me out of here will you." his voice suddenly does not sound so Cumbrian.
