  • Carole Boyd as Mrs. Goggins, Dorothy Thompson, Mrs. Pottage, Doctor Gilbertson and Miss Hubbard

Differences between the book and TV series[]

  • In the beginning of the book version, Peter Fogg along with his motorbike appears by dashing on his way to do the milking, which doesn't happen in the beginning of the TV version.
  • In the TV version, Pat loses his hat at Ted's workshop when Ted starts the postal scooter, but he doesn't in the book version.
  • Mr. Pringle speaks in the book version, but he doesn't in the TV version.
  • In the book version, when Pat was talking to Mrs. Goggins after P.C. Selby spoke to her about Pat, she mentions that P.C. Selby took Pat's name and address, which didn't happen in the TV version.
  • In the book version, Pat mentions that he saw a postal trolley on a trip to London. This might be a reference to the book "Postman Pat Goes to Town" in which Pat spends a week working in London. The Royal Mail is also mentioned in the book version. London was never mentioned in the TV version, and Pat mentions Pencaster Post Office in the TV version.
  • In the book version, Katy was with her mother when she was talking to Mrs. Goggins about Pat driving around on the postal scooter, which doesn't happen in the TV version.

Trivia[]

  • Recording date: March 25, 1996.
  • The brush in the Post Office is the same one from the “Bertha” episode "More Speed Less More".
