Postman Pat and the Cranky Cows is the twenty-first episode of Postman Pat Season 5. It was written by Alison Stewart.

Summary[]

Pat has to deliver a parcel to Ted Glen, but it is making very strange noises.

Meanwhile, The Pottage's Scottish Highland cows are very miserable. Katy and Tom attempt to cheer them up by putting on a puppet show and performing skateboard tricks, but it does not work.

When Pat arrives at Ted's mill, he finds out that the parcel contains bagpipes which will be used for a device to scare the sheep away from the Thompsons' vegetables. Unfortunately Ted's new invention seems to have the opposite effect and attracts even more animals onto the vegetable patch, that is until the bagpipes are removed.

Pat then uses the bagpipes to cheer up the cows by playing them music that reminds them of their homeland.
