Trivia[]
- Tom Pottage and Lucy Selby's original Woodland Animations models appear in the front row at the cinema. They may be two completely different characters as the real Tom appears back home in Greendale with Katy and his mother and Lucy makes a cameo appearance back home with her father.
- Miss Hubbard, Sam Waldron and Peter Fogg also make appearances in the front row at the cinema. They also appear in their original appearance, but as this is their first and only appearance in the series since Postman Pat and the Robot and Postman Pat and the Mystery Tour, respectively and do not appear in any other further episodes, it is unknown whether they are meant to be completely different characters.
- This is the only time all of the three were shown physically in the Cosgrove Hall era.
- This is also the last physical appearance for both Sam Waldron and Peter Fogg. After this episode, the two have not been mentioned since.
- However, Miss Hubbard later returns in a Specsavers advert and in Postman Pat: The Movie.
- This episode was later referenced in Green Rabbit (Series 6).
Goofs[]
- In some shots, Nikhil is not in the van and Jess can be seen, even though Jess is meant to be sitting underneath Nikhil's pushchair.
- Katy says, "Can I take Nikhil to see the sheep, Pat?", but she should have said, "Can we take Nikhil to see the sheep, Pat?" as she and Tom are both going to take Nikhil to see the sheep.
- Pat should have taken his hat off when he went into the church.
- When Dorothy puts Nikhil in the vegetable patch, his right eyebrow is missing.
- When Pat is at Ted's Workshop, his van is missing its rear number plate.
