Postman Pat Wiki

Postman Pat and the Greendale Movie is the eighth episode of Postman Pat Season 3 and was first broadcast on the 17th September 2004. It was written by Rachel Dawson.

Summary[]

Pat has a video camera delivered to him and decides to make a video diary of Greendale whilst on his rounds. However he has little idea of how to use it and lots of things get accidentally filmed. When he later shows the film to the village in the school hall, Pat is rather embarrassed by the results but everyone else finds it very amusing.

Trivia[]

  • This is one of the few times in the television series when we see the characters' teeth.
    • In the scenes when the characters say cheese, the smiles on their faces are edited in as opposed to being physically added to their faces on the set.
  • Stock footage from Postman Pat and the Jumble Sale is used.
  • The Reverend Timms' piano was previously used as Miss Hubbard’s in Postman Pat and the Tuba.
  • The same audio track of people laughing and cheering from Postman Pat Clowns Around, when Pat and Bill sprayed and showered Mrs. Goggins and Doctor Gilbertson with confetti is used.

Goofs[]

  • Mrs. Goggins asks Pat what his parcel is even though it is not wrapped up.
  • Pat should have taken his hat off when he went into the church.
  • At a few points, the pupils of Pat's eyes are smaller when he is in the church.
  • In the aerial shots of Greendale, the mail truck is at the rear of the Greendale Rocket, but when Ajay and Ted are cleaning the locomotive, it is at the front of the train.
  • Because of the fade effect before the end credits, the closing theme music goes out of sync with the footage.
