- Some sheep from Season 1 are used in this episode.
- The picture that the children gave to Pat from Postman Pat's Birthday can be seen on the wall in the school.
- The original Woodland Animations PAT 1 model is used in the station car park and when Pat lets the sheep out of the van when they find the Reverend Timms and the sheep on the road next to the post box attached to the pole.
Goofs[]
- At the post office, Pat puts five pieces of paper into his hat, but at the school only four pieces are picked out. In consequence to this, Mr. Pringle does not take over the Reverend Timms' duties.
- At some points in the post office, the electric fan twitches slightly.
- When the Reverend says "Ah, lovely fresh." one of the sheep is walking on its hind legs.
- Pat should have taken his hat off when he went into the church.
- Throughout the scene in the cafe, the clock's big hand keeps jumping back and forth to times between 10.05, and 10.25.
- There was no need for Pat to ring the doorbell at the surgery if he was going to let himself in anyway.
- The Old Pump has moved to outside the post office. In the same scene, Ajay’s motorbike is outside the post office for some reason.
- As Pat turns the corner to look for the Reverend, a string appears briefly on the road.
- In the credits this episode was listed as being ©2003 when it was actually made in 2004.
